tangible kingdom. thank you.

i want to thank everyone who participated in reading the tangible kingdom with me. it was an interesting adventure especially with all the events that were going on at the same time, nonetheless it was great. knowing now how hard it is to get soo many people reading and reviewing a book... let's do it again!

any suggestions for reading...

Okay... I know the book doesn't stop at chapter 12. Is everyone too busy to keep discussing the book, or have you all just been discussing it amongst yourselves? (in which case, I feel a bit forgotten, overlooked, excluded, disregarded... whatever).

If you want suggestions for reading The Shaping of Things to Come by Michael Frost and Alan Hirsch is a good book. I've also heard Courageous Leadership by Bill Hybels is a good one too. I'll be reading it this semester.

well last week would of been week seven if i was disciplined enough to keep up with this. There hasn't been any discussion from that besides of my roommates and other comments in conversation but nothing organized.
Overall I would have to say that the "incarnational/missional" church is becoming more and more of a beautiful thing to grasp.
"It's all abut relationships."

From Hugh Halter (Tangible Kingdom guy) to all of those who took time to read our story. Don't give up on the Tangible Kingdom. We'll have fat missional primer ready for use in March. We think it will take all our stories and bring it down to a level that anyone can make it happen. Stay tuned to our TK site.
Blessings
Hugh

Thank you for reading The Tangible Kingdom by Hugh Halter and Matt Smay.

One of the questions Matt and Hugh often received following the launch of that book was "Loved the book, but how do I get my community to do that?" The newly launched The Tangible Kingdom Primer is our effort to help small groups and churches do just that. It is an 8-week guide to creating missional and incarnational communities.

If you would like to receive a free copy of the Primer, please contact us at: books{AT} crmleaders.org. Please provide your name, the street mailing address you would like it delivered to (no P.O. Box please) and your email address. In the subject line, put Tangible Kingdom Primer Blog Copy.
